Introductions - Anton

Hello and welcome to your class blog! My name is Anton and I will be your teacher for this course.

I come from Cambridgeshire originally, although I haven’t lived there for many years. I’ve been teaching English since 2000, in Hungary, the Czech Republic and in Malaysia. I completed the CELTA teaching qualification in 2000 and the DELTA teaching qualification in 2003.

I moved to Vietnam in February 2006 and began working for the British Council as a teacher in Ho Chi Minh City.

I enjoy reading novels and poetry, walking, watching films and going out to restaurants.

I also enjoy teaching and I am especially interested in using Information and Communication Technology in class. This term I would like to use a Class Blog to provide extra reading and writing practice. I hope you will all enjoy reading and writing on this blog.

The first assignment: write a paragraph or two about yourself, and give it the title 'Introductions'. Once you have posted your own introduction, read the other introductions on the blog and leave each person a 'comment' to let them know you have read their work.
